Ingredients: organic green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis)
Tea leaves are harvested in early spring and stored until late summer when fresh jasmine flowers are in bloom. The Jasmine flowers are picked early in the morning when they are still closed and kept cool until nightfall. During the night Jasmine flowers open and this is when the tea scenting takes place. Traditionally layers of jasmine blossoms are placed between green tea leaves and stored overnight which is when the they release most of their fragrance. Today, hot air is passed through the jasmine blossoms and then filtered through the tea so that the blossoms can be reused to decorate the tea.
Jasmine tea is liked by many for its fresh, floral aroma, offering a very pleasant tasting green tea.
